Amy Zuraski earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees from Duquesne University. She began her career at UPMC Children’s Hospital, spending 16 years developing expertise as a pediatric occupational therapist treating a wide range of complex medical and developmental diagnoses.

During her tenure, she spent 8 years on the interdisciplinary Feeding and Swallowing Clinic team, where she discovered her true passion: evaluating and treating feeding disorders from infancy through young adulthood using a responsive, family-centered approach. Most recently, Amy served as the Regional Manager of Pediatric Therapy Services at Allegheny Health Network, where she established their pediatric therapy service line. Deeply committed to education, she has also served as an adjunct instructor for foreign occupational therapy graduate students through the Duquesne-China Health Institute.

• Areas of Expertise: Feeding difficulties (including Pediatric Feeding Disorder and ARFID), sensory processing disorder, and visual-perceptual/visual-motor delays from birth through young adulthood.

• Advanced Certifications: SOS Approach to Feeding, The Lactation OT, Yoga for the Special Child, and the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing.

• Credentials: Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania and certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
